Cause of SSL Handshake Error

Windows update provides support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.1 and TLS 1.2 in Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 are security protocols for establishing encryption channels over computer networks. Microsoft has supported these protocols since Windows XP/Server 2003. However, due to evolving regulatory requirements as well as new security vulnerabilities in TLS 1.0, Microsoft recommends that customers remove TLS 1.0/1.1 dependencies in their environments and disable TLS 1.0 and 1.1 at the operating system level where possible.

Impact

An SSL Handshake Failure means that the server and browser were unable to establish a secure connection.

Docuflo v4.3 versions build on .NET Framework 4.5.2, then by default Docuflo v4.3 application will use the older and not recommended protocols SSL 3.0 or TLS 1.0. Docuflo v4.3 require an update to newer versions of .NET Framework such as .NET Framework 4.6 above.
